It is the high mountain that needs a lot of hiking to the top. However, the route is not too hard to walk. Most importantly, when you reach the top, all your tiredness will be gone and happiness from seeing beautiful views by your own eyes will come instead. Doi Luang Chiang Dao is located at the wild animal conservation area in Doi Luang Chiang Dao. It is a limestone mountain aging between 230-50 million years. The color of the stone is white caused by the pile of sea animal fossils with limestone as the structure. It can be assumed that in the past, Doi Luang Chaing Dao used to be the shallow. How to get to Dao Luang Chiang Dao There are 2 access entries: Pang Wua and Den Ya Chud. Den Ya Chud entry takes longer but easier to walk. It takes about 5-6 hours with beautiful views along the way and you can also take a rest. Apart from beautiful views, there are trees, flowers and rare and beautiful birds to see. The target of hiking is Ang Salung which is the camping point. When you finish setting up the tent, it is the time to go to the top of Doi Luang Chiang Dao to see the view and watch the sunset. It takes less than 1 hour. The same time is taken during the dawn to see the sunrise. On Doi Luang Chiang Dao, apart from beautiful views at sunrise and sunset, if you are lucky, there is the sea of mist showing up beautifully for you to see. The two viewpoints for the sea of mist are the top of Doi Chiang Dao and Sun Giw Lom. The top of Doi Chiang Dao takes about 30-45 mins walking from Ang Salung, the camping area to the top. It is the perfect point for the sea of mist and the first light of the day because of its 360 degrees on top of the mountain. The East side of the top is the North Sun Giw Lom. The West is Doi Sam Pee Nong. The South is the South Sun Giw Lom. The North is Doi Pyramid and many small tops of the mountains. The top of the mountain offers routes to walk and see beautiful plants and birds, especially in March-April when white roses fully bloom. If you are lucky, you might also see long-tailed gorals and mountain goats which are rare animals.
