Erawan National Park is another significant national park in Thailand. Located in Kanchanaburi, Thailand, it has received many awards, with the most prodigious being the award in the natural attractions category at the 6th Thailand Tourism Industry Awards in 2006. Here lies the biggest and most beautiful waterfall of Kanchanaburi, Erawan Waterfall, which runs from the Huai Mong Lai River down a 2100 meters tall mountain. The waterfall is 1500 meters long and has seven tiers, each of which is a great and safe swimming area. Moreover, you can take a 30 minute walk around Erawan nature trail to savor the beauty of hill evergreen forest and deciduous forest. How to get there

Get onto Highway 3199 (Kanchanaburi – Si Sawat) to the km 56, turn left to the bridge to Srinakarin Dam Market, and go straight for 3 kilometers. Park at the Erawan National Park and walk 500 meters to get to the waterfall.

There are Kanchanaburi- Erawan buses running from Saeng Chu Tho Road to Srinakarin Dam Market every day. It takes around one hour 30 minutes.

There are two trains from Bangkok Noi Railway Station to Kanchanaburi every day. Both stop at Kanchanaburi, the Bridge of the River Kwai, Tha Kilen, and Nam Tok stations. Departure time: 7.50 am and 1.45 pm.
